Tips for getting out in winter weather
- Keep warm, lots of layers works well and if it's really cold, add a thermal layer.
- Wear a scarf over your nose and mouth, this helps to protect your lungs from the cold.
- When outside, breathe through your nose - helping to warm the air you breathe in.
- Exercise is vital but if the weather's too bad, walk around your home and climb stairs.
